The Sturbridge Rotary Club proudly continues its tradition of supporting local education by awarding eight $1,000 scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors from the community. These scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to service—values that align closely with Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
- Charlotte Ardis
- Samantha Baker
- Anthony Fuzzuoli
- Griffin Harold
- Jackson Landine
- Jocelyn Mrotek
- Ethan Parker
- Rachel Salisbury
Each of these students was selected through a competitive application process that considered their academic performance, extracurricular involvement, volunteer work, and future goals. Their achievements reflect the strength and promise of the next generation, and the Rotary Club is honored to play a role in helping them pursue their higher education.
“These scholarships are one of the most important ways we invest in the future of our community,” said a spokesperson from the club. “We’re incredibly proud of this year’s recipients and excited to see where their talents and ambitions take them.”
The scholarships were formally awarded during a recent Rotary Club meeting, where club members had the opportunity to meet the recipients, hear about their college plans, and offer words of encouragement.
The Sturbridge Rotary Club has been awarding scholarships to local students for over four decades, contributing significantly to the educational journeys of dozens of promising young individuals. This year’s $8,000 in scholarships continues that legacy of support and service.
Congratulations to all the 2025 recipients! We wish you continued success as you embark on this exciting new chapter.
